From the sublime to the ridiculous, Lincoln Cathedral yesterday but what can this be? It is actually the patterns caused by winter wheat just appearing in the fields, backlit by a low angled sun. These patterns are almost invisible from any other angle, and give a forensic level of information about where the tractor went when sowing the seeds. This clearly wasn't the most efficient way to sow the seeds, it makes you wonder what the tractor driver was thinking, very odd.

Thankyou for the wonderful comments on my Lincoln Cathedral shot yesterday. Those of you that wanted to see the inside should take a look at my gallery here;
