16.01.15 - Light Trails Fun

Well the winds did relent and let me do my guided photo walk last night. The people on it wanted to do light trails, and the customer is always right so we did do just light trails for two hours, including some train ones just to prove it doesn't have to be cars. With light trails the knack is always to try and find an interesting viewpoint and angle, not just shoot cars going across the camera. All of the above were also shot without using a tripod, a challenge I sometimes set myself, especially on a very cold evening when handling all that metal isn't fun! Shutter speeds were 5-10 seconds by the way.
