6.5.08 - Feeling In The Pink! What a beautiful day we've had in the UK today, temperatures into the 70s, glorious unbroken sunshine, shame about having to work in it. After a few days of Dailies that spent a fair time in PS, this pink rhododendron is pretty much straight out of the camera. These are such pretty flowers, but they aren't native to Britain and cause a lot of havoc amongst the indigenous flora. They grow rapidly, block out the light from the forest floor, and do something to the soil that makes it difficult for anything else to grow even after they've been removed. As someone who loves to run through forests, rhodos are also impossible to run through, but they are still beautiful :)
