16.9.09 - Dust Bowl
I spent this afternoon taking photos for the local tourist board again, so I'm now going to spend all evening processing them. I hope I got some good shots, and no doubt I will share some of them in due course. But this caught my eye on the way home. It has been very dry for the last week or so, but I was surprised at the amount of dust blown up by this tractor. I only just managed to catch it before he got too far away. I pulled up onto the grass verge, wound the car window down with one hand and grabbed the camera with the other. Luckily I had the longer lens on, or I would have missed it. I'm just amazed that I got it almost in focus, and got some nice composition with the old farm and distant church steeple.
