How much more power does a photographer want than to be able to create their own planets? I don't know who first worked out how to do this, but I first saw Faux Planets in Amy Wilburn's galleries and she told me to have a go myself :)
It has taken several weeks to actually sit down and try, but once I got the principles I went a bit mad I'm afraid. It is great fun, but I really should spend more time fine tuning the images, especially hiding the seams. I've got a better idea now of what images translate into great planets, so hopefully I'll improve with practice.... hopefully!
