29.06.10 - Adventures in Bokeh!
This is a continuation of yesterday's experiments. Bokeh always fascinates me, it can be very unpredictable but you can also control it if you think it through. Use a shallow depth of field and think carefully about the background. Here the plantains just behind the Ox Eye Daisy are still almost recognisable, whereas the grasses and blue Forget Me Nots further back just give a colour wash.

I am continuing this Daily Project into a third year as best I can. It is my intention to shoot and post every day when possible, but please forgive me if I have to raid the archives or even miss the odd day here and there. Some days might be just quick snapshots, others may have some pretensions towards art. I intend to try new things, exploring new areas and pushing my photographic comfort zone ever further. Constructive criticism is always welcome of course, and I will try to reciprocate when time allows.
As usual I will enable Google Earth, so that if you click on the "map this" button above the image you can see where the photographs were taken.
